Passenger seat heater light...

So I just got my G about a month ago and have been getting to know its quirks, subtleties, and feel. Quick question:

When my headlights are on the driver side seat heater lights up (not on, but backlit). The passenger side does not, nor is there any backlight to the snow mode switch. Both seat heaters and snow mode work just fine. Is there a bulb burned out or is it supposed to be this way (it just seems odd)?

Thanks!

The backlight bulbs just burn out on these cars. Both my seat heater buttons are burnt out so I just leave it like that since it matches and basically don't feel like going to the trouble of taking the console apart to fix them. I was also assuming that my dealer would charge me out the a$$ for new buttons too. If you have more ambition for doing that kind of stuff than I do I'm sure it's not too difficult to fix. There are some DIY's for taking the console apart on this site, just do a search and you should find them.
