Question about seat heater switches on '06 sedan

On my car, i know that if you press the switches to the passenger side, the seat heater is set to high.

Problem is, no matter what direction i rock the switch, only the indicator light on the driver's side lights up, even when i rock it to the passenger side.

Is this how it's supposed to be? How does the other side light up?

The light is only and on indicator, it doesn't tell you what setting it is on. It is the same on our Subaru. You just have to tell by looking at which way the switch is set to see if it is high or low, the light simply tells you that it is on.

Ok, i understand that, but it appears that there is an indicator light for both sides, but only one lights up.

hmm. not sure what to tell you. maybe it is different for 06 then.

edit: Just looked at mine again, The switch has a raised line on each side, but only a light on the drivers side of each switch which is by the LOW line. Then the HIGH side does not have a light, only the raised line by it.

Lol, i guess i'm a dumbass. I just looked again and there is only one light on each switch.

I misstook the bars on the switch as the indicator lights. Mine is the same as yours. Thanks!
