moving vdc button?

has anyone swapped the vdc and the hazard buttons? i hate where the vdc is located. it would make more sense if it was swapped with the hazard button. if so, how did u go about doin it? i would think u could just cut and splice longer wires on them so u have enough slack to move them but i could be wrong. any input would be cool

I agree. The VDC button location is a pain. It needs to be on the center console or somewhere more accessible while driving.

thats why its out of the way, so it doesnt get inadvertantly switched off during driving.

yes all you have to do is extend wires. is a simple on off switch, so you could put it in your steering wheel, on your seat controls, even in the roof if you wanted.

you could either buy the KPTech VDC off module or extend the wires and relocate it near the hazard switch. The VDC is rectagular whereas the hazard is circular so you would have to modify the cutout. Why not just cut out a section on the drivers side of the center console and mount it there? I've thought about that for a while, I just need to find a dummy piece to practice on first.

I would just get the KP memory module and leave it there.

Wait, that's what I did.

both of mine are rectangular. exactly the same size too. how much of a pain is it to take the dash apart? i know the center console is pretty easy.
