Rear seat removal

Rear seat removal

ok i give up ive been searching all night and been messin with the car for a couple of hours and i cant get the bottom of the back seat out.
i have a 2005 g35 coupe ive read that u just lift up on it and ive also read that theres tabs that you pull and i cant find any tabs anywhere and pulling up on it dosent seem to work either it just feels like im gonna tear the seat apart. are there any other methods does anyone have some experince with this any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks.

Did this this past weekend on my 06 coupe. There are no tabs to pull. You just pull up around the center of each seat/side and it releases. You can try and use the heel of your palm and just strike upwards real quick to pop it out. No tools required. Then you pull fwd and up at an angle. Push the seatbelts down through the holes.

Its a little tough the first time, I found it easiest to get leverage on it by putting both front seats forward all the way, straddling the trans tunnel while facing the rear seats and then grabbing the front lower center of the rear seats and just pull on up and out, viola, you should be done by now...after that I found it a little easier to do each time.

just in case you haven't seen these...it might help, but yeah, you have to wedge your fingers underneath closer to the tab(or clip) locations to get a nice grip. Shown on the 6th pic on this link.
