Driver side rear floor SOAKING WET after heavy rain

Any ideas on the source? I don't have a sunroof and no other parts of the carpet are wet, just the driver side rear corner/carpet.

I haven't had any time to lift the car up to see if there are any holes or cracks underneath (lifting it tomorrow to check), but as far as I can remember I haven't hit or run over anything that would make a hole in or crack the floor.

It's causing condensation to build up on EVERY window overnight (I park outside because my apartment doesn't have any other option).

Obviously. But my primary concern is finding the source first. Find the source, fix it, and then I won't have to worry about mold.

Nope, just on the floor (and windows at night when the condensation builds up).

i had a pretty major leak a few weeks ago. it would only appear after a heavy rain. i followed the water drops to the highest point and found that it was comming in at the boot in the firewall that meets the evap box. pita! i wound up grabbing a tube of rtv sealant and just going around the boot and sealing it up. no problems since.

i first noticed it b/c of the awful smell from the stagnant water. i pulled up my floor mat and you could see water on the backside of the mat and the carpet was soaked.

if its not comming in there, my only other suggestion would be to check the windshield.

^^^When I had my system installed, the installers drilled through my firewall and did not seal it properly with grommets.
