well I have a spoiler with a brake light in it and I always hated having two on or even just unplugging the high mount one, because its still there.

so I wanted to take it out and put something in its place to cover the hole.

I wanted something simple that didn't stand out and looked like the car could have came with it.

I cut a piece of MDF for the backing plate and the infiniti logo i also cut out of MDF and routered the edges on both pieces.

Then I covered the whole thing in a piece of vinyl that i got from a top shop that was extremely close the the color of the interior.

so this is what I made...







The whole thing only cost me 4 bucks!
I already had a bunch of scrap MDF laying around so that was free

 

That's pretty nice. Wanta sell your 3rd brake light.
