Stated switch is bad and they need to replace the entire seat cushion because the switch is inside of the cushion. Dealer stated if it was the drivers seat, then the part is only $85. I am livid. I might as well just put the $3000 on a new car and get a car with a seat that works. Has anyone else had this problem.
I had the same problem on my 05 coupe, luckily the Nissan dealer spotted it before I bought the car and replaced it free of charge. The seat wouldn't work they said because a larger man was checking out the car and broke the recliner. They had to replace the motor in the seat and "flip the switch?" they said to activate the motor..

I would definitely look into aftermarket leather Recaro seats for $3k! My less complicated 04 coupe has no such auto recline, hence nothing to fail!
