Talking Modify Sunglass Cubby

Hey I have a 03.5 Sedan...and my sunglasses dont fit in that little sunglass cubby, i'm getting tired of leaving then in the cup holder since i like things to look put away, does anyone know of a way i can modify the cubby so it can fit bigger glasses if no one knows anything ill prolly just buy an extra cubby on ebay and try some stuff out...thanks in advance
not looking for haters just want someone to help me out

Just becareful if your sunglasses are real lenses (like perscription ones) that have screws in the corners.. I have ruined 3 pairs of pretty expensive (400 and up) glasses by leaving them in the car. I know I should have learned by the first pair but I didnt. Now I look like an old lady with my sunglasses over my real glasses. F'em it works.

Its just like a crack in the windshield the heat/cold goes straight for the point of least resistance.

I dont know if a bigger one is possible and still stay flush with the headliner.

i dont wear perscription sunglasses just regular but still $250-$500 glasses some of my pairs fit but 2 do not...ive checked i could cut out the little ridge but then that would cut the clip out also maybe cutting the actual liner so thr is more room at the top when i close it but i dont want to run into wires and i dont want a hole in my headliner even if it is closed...hmm im really going to have to think
