I cleaned mine but they only worked for a couple days.. guess I need new brushes..

This is the same thing that the auto parts stores do to resell window motors.
This is a great thing to do to save money.

i replaced my brush, but lasted only for a month or two.
Got a refurbed window motor at advance autoparts for $120 and fot $25 back for core.
It also come with lifetime warranty.

screw the oem nissan motors.

Window motors are specific to the model. Some models will share the same motor, like us G's and Z's.
And being the same motor, us G coupe's have the biggest and heaviest windows for the window motors to raise and lower.

G35 coupe, sedan, and 350Z, yes.

However remember not all sedan models have auto up/down.

It's kool I have a coupe.. I like that they have a lifetime warranty..

I did mine with the hobby store brushes. It works great. It only took me about an hour and a half. I went to my local hobby shop and gave them part number LX2434 from the tower hobbies website that was listed earlier on this thread and they gave me the following brushes:



They work great, just about 0.5 mm thinner but didn't cause any issues.




Thanks, saved a lot of money and it was very easy to do.

Ok so I can't get the motor to reset. It will go up about halfway and stops any tips. One thing I read said the door has to be closed. Haven't tried that yet oh also the outside of the motor is really hot after just a couple minutes of messing with it is it supposed to get that hot?
