i just had to pry open my change holder (next to the hazard button) cause i had too much change in it. looks like a piece snapped off the black piece (the one that the silver snap on cover goes on). i wanna try to epoxy the broken piece but can't figure out how to get it out, any ideas? if i can't fix it, any idea how much it would cost from the dealer?

thanks for the help dave. it's not the ashtray insert (#20) which is removable for cleaning, but the piece the insert goes into. it is the piece that actually moves in and out, once the insert it removed. looks like the piece to the right of the #21 label, might be it. but it's not numbered, so it looks like i would need the whole #18 package, which is $85. any idea if that might be the part, waaay too expensive if it is.

it might actually be this one, or are they the same parts?

Well, sometimes these parts sheets aren't as helpful as they could be... I think it's time to call a dealer and ask them. I would try either Grubbs or EverythingInfiniti.

i broke my ashtray insert and got my hands on the entire assembly. retail is @ $140... i'll send pics tonight when i get home and you can tell me if theres something you need...

sounds great, let me know. i ordered a small clip, i couldn't tell if it's the right piece or not, but it was only $1.40 so i figured what the hell it's worth a shot. let me know what you plan to do with the old console because i'm not 100% sure of this new piece. i also didn't realize that the titanium faceplate on the ashtray was broke too, so i'd be willing to buy whatever i may need from you.

i broke the insert that comes out. i dropped it on the floor and it cracked in half...
