Suede Wrapped seats.....

With naughtys recent suede interior swap it made me think about wrapping my seats also. Anyone know if its possible to just take out the middle perforated leather and sew the suede into the inserts on the stock seats? Also would be looking into doing the door panel inserts with suede too. I talked to a shop and he wanted over 600 to do just one seat. In reality i think it would work but has anyone ever worked with them. Tips. Anyone think it will lay right on the seat?

I know Classic Soft Trim and Katzkin both new upholstery with suede inserts. I had my F150 Lariat seats done in tan leather with suede inserts, and loved it. I would think a good upholstery shop could remove the stock seat cover, and replace the centers with suede, then reinstall.

Me this is a feeler im on deployment right now....hopefully the other guy gives some insight when he does his

had this qouted at a shop at 600 a seat which was crazy for me...i figured you can just take out the sticking and restitch the suede in

shop told me i would have to replace everything or else it wouldnt form back right but just the inserts should be fine imo
