Thumbs up

Locksmith shift boots are awesome! Very high quality, and look really nice. I've got one in my car, and I love it. Send him a PM: https://g35driver.com/forums/members...locksmith.html

I can vouch for Locksmith too!

I have a shift boot and had him re-cover my center console/arm rest in suede. Both were very nicely done.

Also got him to do a leather shift boot for a friends MX-5. Again, top notch material and craftsmanship. They guy with the Mazda was VERY impressed with the quality.

^If you got an FX boot and mailed it to him, he could probably redo it.
Or possibly find one from an FX with black leather interior?

You can get the FX shift boot in black leather. I've done this upgrade on my 2004 G35X with balck interior and love it!

The only drawback is the PRND bezel is chrome. It looks fine, but I'd prefer it in brushed aluminum. Masking and trying to rattlecan painting it to brushed aluminum would be too difficult, IMO.

^Dude, send him your pieces.
He actually offers that on his vendor thread IIRC.

He also adds some cushioning to the armrest so it's much more comfortable.
