Hi. N00b here. I have an '07 coupe 5AT on which I'd like to replace or repair/paint in my interior. It is the piece shown above on which the emergency lights button is recessed, in other words the piece on top of which the shift inidcator sits.
1. how can it be removed? Mine has some scratches on it that raelly bugs me.
2. So does the "chrome" part of the stock shift ****, so any direct replacements would be nice to know about too, but I'd like something stock or close to it please.
I've spent hours searching which led me here, but I don't even know what that part is called. I don't even know how to remove the shift ****. With instructions I can do it, but on my own I tend to wreck things.
3. Where can I find this info please? Also on removing the plastic silver door handle trim for the same purpose.
4. I'm in the Vancouver BC Canada area, in case someone can recommend a restorer/detailer there that can do the job.
Thanks very much !
