This isn't a typical strobing LED issue

Just picked up a full interior set of LEDs and have a strange issue with them. I swapped in the LEDs in the front dome lights and no light from either bulb. I took the LEDs out and put them in the rear map lights. Voila, they work!

Oddly enough, the old bulbs from the map lights work fine up front.

Any ideas on where to start? The LEDs are obviously not defective, and the dome lights work fine with the regular bulbs.

 

Did u try putting them in the opposite way??

 

^this. Most leds only allow current in one direction.
