I bought a yard of vinyl for $6 and a can of spray adhesive for $6. Pretty simple procedure. The rear area will be quite a bit more difficult. I'll probably result to painting that one. There are too many curves for me to care to wrap that one.

the best solution for the A pillar is to use a paint stripper to remove the suede like tan material thats on it. It will wipe right off with a microfiber cloth. You'll be left with a material that looks like the airbag cover. Then paint it with duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint. That's what i did with mine and i've had no issues whatsoever it looks like it came black from the factory

Not if you use real upholstery contact glue, cant use rattle can glue.

I don't know if that's faiir. they're horrid low quality cell phone pics, perhaps it's not really that bad (aside from the grain flow issue).

I want to try this on my grab handle covers to get a feel for how it looks.

The weave is stretched and broken, the resin has pitting it just looks like a rushed half *** job. I'm sure if done right that kit can look great but the way he did it I would have rather left it stock.

Well the first time you have done anything it must have always turned out perfect. I am going to re-do the ashtray cover because yes, it does look bad. I haven't seen much like this done and figured I would share my ideas.
