I'm interested in RAISING the height of the passenger seat in my 06 coupe. Didn't see any threads specific to this particular mod.

Any advice would be most appreciated.

If it's even possible to raise the height of the passenger seat, I would assume that lowering it (for a taller passenger) would NOT likely be done at the push of a button. Nonetheless, I'm ok with that, given that pretty much everyone that sits there feels way too low.

Granted, we're not a tall people, in my family. Regardless, the seat (bottom cushion) could come up at least 1.5 inches if not a tad more, and still accommodate "normal" height people (aka non-kin).

The question is, how might this be accomplished, given that the passenger seat has no height or tilt adjustment? For instance, might it be possible to add heavy gauge steel spacers of equal height to go between the existing frame bolt holes and bolt receiver locations on the floor?
