If the gtr seats don't work, I actually contacted cipher auto... They said they have a few "returned sets" of their 2001 seat. Basically it looks close to the sportster cs. Since I'm re wrapping them anyways and they come with brackets I'm pretty intrigued on that. I would add heated seats to it though. Could be good I dunno. I've heard good things on the 350 forum of them.

In case anyone is wondering, I bagged it. I have spent around 100 total hours in the months I have owned these seats trying to figure out the wiring, and I have come down to they simply will not work Period. There are so many wires running in so many different ways, and Its just impossible to get them to work. If someone wants them I will sell them haha for 400 bucks. One is taken apart completely and one is completely together. There is just Absolutely no way it is going to get retrofitted yo our cars. My last and final resort would be to but the cushions on our platforms, but I have not measured it out or even really tried it at all. I may look at that option tonight, but im not keeping any fingers crossed for that option.

I still have a couple of ideas, and one is to unwrap every single wire and then try to power those. But as an example... There are 5 wires coming off of the heated seats. 5. Im assuming 1 is a ground 1 is for high 1 is for low 1 os for a constant off what are the other 2 though lights??? I dont know. Coming off of the round button there are like 15 wires. I just dont know how to go in and test them all. I can get every motor to function, but I cant exactly control it.

So real quick I realized I was doing some of my wiring after a bypass. therefore it was after where the Switch would be telling the motor what to do. I will go back to the drawing board. I can raise and lower the seat, and the thighs though... That is good.

Ya they are comfortable. I'm just unsure on the wiring. If all is done how I planned, in the end recovered they will be motorized, heated, and airbag recaros for about a thousand dollars. But this wiring is a pain. I have not touched it this week yet. As it looks on the g35 seat sometimes 2 wires were grounded out when the seat moved when a motor was used. So I may have a shot of this all working... May. But it might take using the power source that I know of and connecting that to every wife in the switch seperatly.

Well, after a few more hours of working with the seats, I thought I figured it out. I could get them to go up, recline, and the thigh part to go up as well. I could not depress them though. While trying to figure out a way to depress them I blew my seat motor fuse. I put in a new one, and not well.... Everything is different. The wiring I used before to turn the switch on and off, are now constantly sending power. Don't know if something changed with my wiring, or if its just 2 am and I'm going insane. My hopes to hardware in a switch failed because it constantly runs power to the motor. Nothing there to stop it. So once again another fail. I'm about to bag the seats. I don't see a way unless I spend a lot more man hours on this like maybe 50-100 and I may figure it out I may not. So I'm thinking ill go get my cipher seats install a memory foam layer and a heated pad and call it a day. If anyone wants these gtr seats you can have them pm me and we'll work something out. I'm going up to Seattle soon, and down to LA soon. Good night.

Well as some may know I dropped the project of the gtr seat. It was getting extremely complicated. I'm not saying someone else may be able to figure it out one day, but I won't be that one. I asked cipher auto if they had any seats with fabric flaws, since I am going to be recovering them anyways and it won't matter if there is a rip in the leather from them. I'm just trying to save money where I can. But I asked if they would sell them at a discount price. They said yes, and so I'm picking up a pair of cipher euro seats. Look like this

Well see how it all goes. Ill add a heated seat to it and get them wrapped. Should be done in a few months with the interior, but I just started doing a wire tuck...... I just keep adding and adding things to my to do list with this car haha.
