Hey Guys,

I am repainting my whole interior on my 2003 G35 coupe a high gloss black. Everything is ready to go except the driver and passenger door handles.

Is it possible to remove the chrome handle and lock out of the assembly. It looks as if it was crimped/riveted into the assembly. I'm sure I can remove it but what about putting it back together.

Hope someone can lend a hand.

No it can't be removed..

 

So it's impossible to paint the handles then?

 

Just tape off around the handle?

That's pretty much the only way to do it as far as I know.

 

It cant be taken apart I would say tape it off. Thats what I will be doing.
