I need one for an 05-07 car. Your 03 or 04 is not the same.

It looks the same to me (button in the front) and theyre interchangeable

Mm thats why this is listed 04 to 07 then . The only one thats different is the 03 golf club lookalike shift **** with the button on the side http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=04119157364 good luck

So is yours just like the one in the ebay ad? I can't tell from the pic you posted. If so, it should be the same as mine.

Yes it is. The only difference in 04 and 05 is the shift plate not the ****

I'm looking for one. The white plastic bit that gets covered up by the shiftboot cracked out on mine during some aggressive driving. Made for a very interesting drive.

Anyhow, the original poster is concerned that in our 2005's the top of the shifter looks the same, but the lower half (silver portion doesn't exist in our cars, thats where the shifter boot attaches.)

So if anyone does have one I'm looking. I just want to see a pic of the attachment point to make sure it'll work. The hidden plastic is white, slips over a blue plastic thing that sits on the shifter handle, and the two are connected via a metal u shaped pin.
