If it was my swap, would try to get the wiring schematic/diagram for GTR seats and cross reference them with the OEM wiring.

You can always go to Nissan Service center and ask service rep for help with wiring diagrams.

That's true I have the schematic but in typical fashion I'm staring at different wires than the schematic. But I think I may have figured it out. The reason for the differenc numbers of wires Is because of where the heated seats are located on the g.

In case anyone is wondering, I bagged it. I have spent around 100 total hours in the months I have owned these seats trying to figure out the wiring, and I have come down to they simply will not work Period. There are so many wires running in so many different ways, and Its just impossible to get them to work. If someone wants them I will sell them haha for 400 bucks. One is taken apart completely and one is completely together. There is just Absolutely no way it is going to get retrofitted yo our cars. My last and final resort would be to but the cushions on our platforms, but I have not measured it out or even really tried it at all. I may look at that option tonight, but im not keeping any fingers crossed for that option.

So, last might while I was dreaming, for some reason I was dreaming of wiring up the seat in my car. Don't ask me why I just was... So, it finally clicked. There is one wire that is a power wire and a negative wire. 3 of the wires on the gtr sear are to the heater, and then the remaining 2 are to the motors. With that known I now may have a few ideas on how to do this. Visualseven in regards to you asking why not just make it manual, the gtr seats are all done by motors. If I decide to completely switch them over, I may do it by a manual back, but I would rather have the motors. A big reason as to why I'm pushing to get these in, is tha I will have a good set of recaros that are heated and have airbags in them for a fraction of the cost. Plus it's a good project.

Okay, I figured out how to work all 3 motors. Now, I need some advice. Should I go in and wire up everything my way, or figure out how nissan has wired It up and attempt to do it that way. The heat switch will need to be moved, and spliced but that won't necessarily be to hard, I think I can manage to do that one. My idea is to fun a positive and a ground to each of the 6 wires. So each wire will have 2 plugs a piece going to it. How they work is when a positive and a negative are powere to it it turns the motor, when you reverse the plugs, it reverses the motion of the motor. So I was going to run a positive and ground to each wire and then wire that into the switch unless anyone has any other ideas. Anything would be amazing . Thanks.

you would need one end from the GTR harness ( what plugs into GTR seat end ) and not hack yours up but find one from another G seat ( that plugs into your harness ) then match up up power and basic functions .

I all ready ripped min off a while back, because if these seats do work, I'm taking the airbags out of the seats, and they have about 120k of miles on them. I think I understand what your saying, but it will be a little hard to figure out and sort out all the wiring.

connect a power source to them to figure out what those wires do , may go to air bag or sensor of some sort , then you figure out which ones you need

Well, after a few more hours of working with the seats, I thought I figured it out. I could get them to go up, recline, and the thigh part to go up as well. I could not depress them though. While trying to figure out a way to depress them I blew my seat motor fuse. I put in a new one, and not well.... Everything is different. The wiring I used before to turn the switch on and off, are now constantly sending power. Don't know if something changed with my wiring, or if its just 2 am and I'm going insane. My hopes to hardware in a switch failed because it constantly runs power to the motor. Nothing there to stop it. So once again another fail. I'm about to bag the seats. I don't see a way unless I spend a lot more man hours on this like maybe 50-100 and I may figure it out I may not. So I'm thinking ill go get my cipher seats install a memory foam layer and a heated pad and call it a day. If anyone wants these gtr seats you can have them pm me and we'll work something out. I'm going up to Seattle soon, and down to LA soon. Good night.
