Good DIY interior walkthrough

From another forum but was a good enough read I figured I'd share it. Wish I'd seen his build before I started mine but oh well.

Very good read. I can't imagine taking my interior apart like that though.

I wish I could pull off the stitching like he did, makes such a huge difference in appearance overall. I guess that'll be my next step whenever I go back to touch up the few pieces I wanted to hit and didn't.

The re-covering with a new material via spray adhesive is pretty easy up until you hit the headliner, and even that's not hard it's just a pain in the *** to smooth out the area around the dome lights / sun glass holder. But when you start talking piping / stitching and the like my eyes glaze over and a.d.d. hits. I'm tempted to give it a shot but honestly I think that's more art than process following.

yeah the head liner is a pain. I wish it was perfectly flat like the other head liners. I might just get mine redone professionally down the line.

Did you end up with any little folds where the fabric wouldn't completely stretch out on yours? I have one that annoys that crap out of me but of course no one ever notices until they look for it after hearing me complain lol.

yeah pretty much near the front side where the headliner raises. Its my fault though, since i didn't take my time and rushed it. But yeah the rounded corners are a pain.

The long and cold winters in Sweden certainly change the way you think about working on your car.
