I got a g35 coupe and the auto dimming rear view mirror isn't working anymore. The green LED is on but no dimming. I tried turning it on/off and shining a flashlight into the light sensor. Anyone have any ideas? Would disconnecting the battery help?

 

It might have a fuse, if not u might need a new mirror..

 

I shined a bright flashlight directly into the sensor and seconds later it started working again.
