So recently my shift boot has been making some noise when I shift. Kind of like as if I spilled something sticky on the leather and it dried and now makes a weird sound when shifting. That is obviously not the case but was wondering if anyone had a similar issue?
I'm thinking it's coming from the underside of the boot but not sure. does the underside have a plastic type lining that would make that noise?

my next step is to remove the boot and try to clean and re-position it and see what happens. thanks all.
