To realign the needles just take a picture of your stock needles and put them in the same spot (fully warmed up of course) the speedo however needs to be done while driving at least 60mph.

You would have to take your stock cluster and the new one to a shop that can copy and reprogram the ic in the cluster that records the mileage

If you want a blue cluster like the one posted it's really easy no solder involved just a bunch of t5 wedges and taking apart the cluster and sand the back of the face and needles then paint the back of the needles.

I want to keep the original needle colors and such.

I just want to change the orange to blue, and the LCD screens.

I am afraid of needing my needles recalibrated. I have no clue how to do that.

It's actually a lot simpler than it seem the gas gauge fill up the tank and put the needle on full, temp and RPM take a before pic of them (car on and completely warmed up) and put them in the same spot. Speedo use a gps drive 60mph and place the needle on 60. If you want orange needles just leave them how they are if you want to change the color then sand and paint them and just tint the back of the face blue. I left my needles clear kinda like a ghost needle lol

Ah, makes sense. I bet an OBD-II port would be a more accurate way to learn all of this. I don't have a GPS :/

How did you swap the lights for the little screens?

Yes the OBD-II port would be the best option but a smart phone with.a camera and gps see do app works just as good if you dont have one. Ilmy whole gauge mod cost about $15. all the little idiot lights are leds you have to unsolder the old ones if you want a different color. I made mine all blue except the brake light and the low gas warning light those 2 are red

Do you know if those little lights are 0805 leds or 1206 leds?

Sorry to bug you, you're just the first person who did this mod who is still on here and talking.

I really appreciate all this info. The dials were the only thing stopping me and you've given me the confidence to actually do the rest of my color swap.
