Racing seats for g35 coupe

Hey folks, hope everyone is well. Eventually i'll end up replacing the seats when the leather gets shredded or the motor goes out. I looked into this a bit and realized all of the installs i see have a lower driver seat than the passenger seat. Why is this? I can't have two seats at different heights... it just looks terrible. Whats the deal with this? Is there any way to prevent this? Also, those that already have aftermarket seats, typically does it provide more headroom than the stock seats? I'm pretty tall and would certainly not mind having more room. Thank you for any information you can provide.

a low seat rail for a tall person would probably make the most sense for you. It all depends on the rails you buy.

Did you figure out which seat brackets to buy ? The driver is lower than the passenger seat because there is a transmission tunnel under the passenger seat which prevents the seat brackets from looking identical. This is from Planted Bracket's website. https://www.plantedtechnology.com/pr...ger-right.html
