5AT drilled pedals *PIC*
I had some drilled pedals made up for my 5AT G35 Sedan. I've enclosed a link to view the pictures, although I had to use ImageStation, and I couldn't figure out how to resequence the images -

Basically, they're made of solid aluminum, and are CNC milled to fit. I even had a pedal made for the emer. brake, just for kicks. I didn't care for the shiny surface, so I took them to a local sandblaster, and $5 later, I have a nice dull finish to complement the 'titanium-look' trim. The brake pedal can be had with or without the 'G35' inscription - personal choice.
Obviously, this is a DIY-installation, but I feel better fastening the pedals to steel or plastic, as opposed to the 'slip on' pedal covers. Granted, it's a little more work, but I feel more secure.
I still need to get working on the 6MT pedal set, but I'll get the measurements from a 350Z some time soon. I believe they're the same as the G35C. Hopefully, the same as the G35S w/6MT.
I'm gauging your reaction to the pedals. Basically, the fellow doing the work is a machinist, and he'd like somewhere in the $50 price range (maybe a little less?) He wanted me to see what everyone on Freshalloy thought. If you like them, he'll add the product to his website, and you can order directly. At this point, he doesn't have the facilities to sandblast, but some may prefer the shiny surface.
Please tell me what you think, so I can pass the information along. Thanks in advance.

i think they look really nice. i like the "G35" engraving. i have been looking for drilled aluminum pedals and would probably get them from your friend. the only question i have is with traction on the pedals. if the sole of your shoe is wet, how well is the traction on those pedals?

If you look at the close-ups, you'll see the pedals are milled with raised bumps around the holes. Grip is good, maybe better than wet rubber.
If you're interested, go to srpracing.com, or call Brian at 704-795-9551 and tell him you'd like the G35 pedals. I don't know what the exact price is, but it's a very fair deal.
