Does anyone know how I can get a wire to go from the battery to the inside of the car. I can't seem to find any place to pass a wire through the firewall

Why would you want to do this? What would it power? there's a fuse box below the far left dash right by your left food. Hard wired my Raderdecektor there... That is power from the battery!

ummm,. chiphead you have never wired up an amplifier before have you? Some amps need as large as 4 gauge to pass all the current they draw. some multi amp systems even use 1/o wire. I have had systems that draw as much as 40 continuous and 80 peak amps. These are "average" systems compared to alot of competition systems. Last I checked there weren't any 80 amp fuses in the fuse box.

as far as the original question try following the hood release cable. it is usually a large hole with a loose gasket.
