Seatbelt = pain in my neck!

Does anybody else have problems with the seatbelt digging into their neck? If so, what have you done about it? I can never get mine into a position where it's not bothering me.

I assume you know how to adjust the height of your seatbelt.

If you still can't find a good position, then you need to consider changing your seated posture.

Yeah, it stinks.

I ended up bying some seat belt pads so it would push out from my body a little, and avoid my neck. Does the trick so far...

Look in WalMark Automotive section... I cannot remember the name but there are 2 small devices you put on the lap part of each belt and they clamp and remain there; when you buckle up, you pull a short section of the shoulder belt down and it clips to the device which changes the angle of the belt and you ride without the dang thing across your neck. I love mine, they work great and only require one extra motion to attach the belt.

See if a minor adjustment in the seatback angle is just enough to decrease the problem to an acceptable level.

The seat belt tension is a little strong for my taste as well. I have gotten used to it but notice more after driving my other vehicles for longer periods.

I've ultimately stopped wearing the seat belt because of how bad they are in the G.

Seatbelt Adjuster TM. is the name casted in them and they work, they keep the lapbelt anywhere you set the angle.

Here it is again at another site:

Just left WalMart... Installed the driver side before I drove off and I love it... Been driving around for a year uncomfortable and could have done this way back then...

Thanks Htown, these things just completed my G, my drive to work was so much better with the belt out to the right and over my shoulder insted of across my neck.

Your welcome! Didn't you mean out to the left and over your shoulder; it's OK, I have trouble with right & left untill I get at least 1 cup coffee...
