So what ever happened to the visionbulbs 5 piece kits? Are you guys happy with the whiteness/brightness of these lights? Does the 5 pieces include the license plate lights? The description said some kits included them, and others did not. I imagine the 5 is for 2 in the domes, 2 in the doors, and one in the trunk? Is that right?

so, got my kit, installed it... looks good - but the change is *very* minor. you and only you will know that it's there, and if you're willing to pay for just that, then do it. otherwise - don't.

one thing: the wedge light bulb that went into the trunk light is quite a bit brighter than stock - that's a nice change. but you could as well just get an ultra-bright wedge bulb alone for a lot cheaper.

overall i'm pleased - i like mods only i know are there. i do have pictures, and in the pictures you can tell the difference, but in person, it's not as noticeable.

Can you post the pics? I ordered HID's from VisionBulbs and they took 3 weeks longer than expected to ship. I'm glad I didn't waste time on the interior kit...

That's good news, codeflux , for me, even if the change were very minor, I'd still do it simply because the white light looks much better than those nasty orange stock lights . However, I already installed my interior bulbs and several exterior bulbs some time before Christmas because I decided to go with the PIAA Xtreme Whites like Cru did. I'm very satisfied with the PIAAs, but they are quite pricey, running at $15 for a package of 2 bulbs. Seeing that I changed out 12 bulbs, that's 6 packs so you do the math . Changed out the 2 Domes, 2 Door Courtesies, 2 Rear Sides, Trunk, License Plate, and Side Markers inside my Clear Corners. I like them . Glad to hear that the VisionBulbs were good too.

I just ordered these as well in the begninning of January. Took them a week to just ship the kit but arrived in about 3 weeks. As to if they get brighter than your current stock, to me the stock is brighter but it does look better.

As for the rear lights, you wont be able to pull the whole thing out. Only the side toward you will come out and that should be enough room to get a small screwdriver in there. For the step lights in the front, the light doesn't come off so you have to press on the clip to release it and it will come off as well as the light.

You might be better off with the PIAA's.

The light isn't as bright as I expected. To be honest, I liked the orange glow from the stock bulbs, it matched the interior better.

I've only installed the front dome lights, and the rears, I don't know how to do the door steps or the trunk, once you open the doors or trunk, the lights come on, is it ok to replace them when they're on?

Hey Code, I'm assuming your kit came with 7 bulbs like mine, where did the other two bulbs go?

the answer you see lies here:

you will have to pull the map light module down from the front (of the car); then, the light covers pop off - CAREFULLY.
