weighted shift ****

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone on here had a weighted shift **** on their car. I was looking at this one http://www.cardomain.com/item/RAZRA117 but I dont know if the heavy weight of the **** could potentially be bad for the transmission. TIA for any input.

Gotta love the marketing on that one. "Drift spec" eh? Increased inertia, yet quicker shifts (just add more force).

not sure of the validity of any of that 'marketing' info but weighted shift ***** do make the shift action slightly easier. luckily i have a few local stores that carry a variety of ***** in stock and let me try them out in my car - perhaps you can try that...

Weightened shifters definitely feel good... it was the faster part that I found funny.

Too bad you gotta pay about $1 for every gram, cuz your shiftknob is overpriced.

Haven't you heard? The added weight is able to intimidate the synchros into working faster!
