can't you just measure.... and add a little for the curves of the floor? I would think that would be too difficult.

Or take a piece of string. lay it out on the curves, then measure the string...

Probably 3 yards. Maybe get 4 just to be safe, but 5 seems like a lot.

Are you sure you cannot clean it? Have stanley steamer or someone come out first before you tackle changing it. The only reason I say that is that most factory carpet is now "molded" when its produced to fit the floor pan. If its not then its often a bitch to install correctly for tight seams and corners.

I assume you don't want any seams... if you try 4 and it is too short... you are in trouble... right. How much does it cost to get that extra yard? Might be worth it.. .just in case.

I always make that mistake with things... wood, fabric... you name it... which it why I have all kinds of different ways to measure things

Why don't you take it to an upholstery shop and have them do the job? Save time and future headaches

very true, but 15 feet of carpet is a lot.

Optional
Pull out your carpet and powerwash it before you go through the hassle of getting new carpet. And if you do get new carpet don't do it yourself, it will look like crap. Get a shop to do it and it will look MINT. I've always thought red carpet would look cool in a graphite interior...hmmmm...just a thought for something different!

what's the price difference between what you're looking at now and ordering oem from the dealership? unless you are looking to do a custom color job, i think it would be easier to get it from dealership and install yourself( oem usually comes pre-molded and pre-cut for seatbelts/shifter/e-brake)
