I'm a tall guy, and even though the G35 has plenty of headroom for me - even with the sunroof, I'd love to be able to roll the seat back and stretch my legs while driving (I'm 6'4"). Is it possible to have a custom telescoping steering wheel made? I know it would probably cost a lot, but I'm just wondering if it would be possible. In fact, it doesn't even have to telescope - maybe just extend 3 inches more. Anyone know if this is possible without sacrificing the integrity of the safety features of the car (airbags), or the electric features (cruise control / radio controls)??

i have no idea, im sure you wont find anything if you search the web. Perhaps go to a good custom auto shop nearby

Perhaps you could use one of the custom steering columns that street rods use. I think "Ididit" is the brand name for these. These are quite cleanly designed.
