Yeah...I had one problem with the first one I rec'vd...it cracked or was cracked already...so I called them up and told them it was cracked, he sent me a new one the same day and I got it the next day.
Great customer service.

You do have to becareful installing them...by pressing the little tabs on the bottom of the cap in alittle so there flush in between the bulb and housing is all you need, so they dont come off or move.

I have Philips Weather Vision for fogs. They are not yellow but have some kind of weird coating on them and they give yellowish purple, but very bright light.

I wouldn't go with caps-they do make lights very yellow, but they significantly block light output. And if they shatter how to scoop this stuff out of headlight?

I just ordered a set of the Piaa yellow H4 bulbs. I'll post some pics next week when I get them on. They were a bit expensive but if they have more output they were worth it.

They do, you just have to retrofit them in by taking apart the housing. I ordered a set from HIDtech.com, and will be doing the retro on my 06s along with painting the housing black. I'll post pics when its done

They're not exactly the same though...I had those yellow caps from HIDtech on my max but you had to take the housing apart like you said and JPWeld (or however you wanted to attach them) them in the housing. I don't really want to do that kind of extensive work just yet on the new G.

I wish they made those caps that you can just clip onto the bulb itself like they do for H4's =(. Been looking for a while now for something like that, but I can't find anything. I'm attempting to put some amber/yellow LEDs in for the citylights and keep the fogs off to see if I can get the same kind of look.

The third one is without the fogs and the forth one is with the fogs. I think the lights need a bit of adjusting as the high beams point quite a bit higher than the old ones. You can see how the fogs light up a bit more of the side ditches on my driveway.

bringing this thread back for my review:

ehh for the price they were pretty good. it was really a look I was going for and it costed very little. also, it didn't change the lighting much so far as reducing output at least not enough for me to notice.

at the end of the day it's a halogen bulb and still points down as it should. brightness is not heavily sacrificed and glare to other drivers isn't (shouldn't right?) affected.

overall I thought the caps were a good by for what I was going for.
