Faux Fogs - Exterior Mount

Fogs cost $14 at Wal-Mart. I stuck mounting bracket through the lower valence holes. I didn't bother wiring them up because I wanted them for looks only. Saved me $1,586 versus buying real fogs with integrated valence from Japan Parts. Call me cheap.

I think you just qualified your mod as the most ghetto G mod ever. No thought, zero quality and a flip attitude about it also. Why did you even bother posting it?

Now I've gotta see some pics. I have an idea on how it looks, but I'd like it to be verified.

HAHAHAHAH! You didn't wire them up? You could have saved even more money by stealing the fog light stickers off some kid's powerwheels.

Re: Faux Fogs - Exterior Mount

Is this any sillier than putting on side skirts? or different grills? or window stickers? etc. etc. I actually think it looks good - of course turning them on would be good, but nobody but Machine will ever know! (except all of us of course).

Why not wire 'em up? I think they look really good.

Post a close-up pic, so we can see them better.

Re: Faux Fogs - Exterior Mount

I have real HID fog-lights, like the one's pictured. What I'm thinking of doing is to cut the factory fog-light wire and wire it to the new HID fog-lights and have them turn on with the factory switch. I will still have the high-beams work like they currently do...
