Can You Fit 06 Projector to 04 G35?

Is this possible? I asked the dealership service department about this, but they said no. Is it possible to fit the 06 headlight assembly into 04?

you want the 06 projector housing only? .. the projectors ITSELF SUCK... very poor quality compared to other projector housings... the reflector bowl quality is as good as APC...

You sure? The 06' projectors on my G35 output just as good as the projectors on my wife's TL, and people keep saying that the TL projectors are one of the best ones.

If you are serious about the just as good comment, then my eyes must be shot. The reach and scope of the TL projector is unparalled, where the stock 06 is mediocre, if they were the same, then I will have no business to do..

What do you mean by reach and scope? You mean how far down the road it throws the light (reach) and how wide the beam is (scope)?

If so, then yes, they are the same. I've even taken both cars out to an empty lot in the middle of the night, when I was aiming my lights to make them the same as the TL's. Perhaps I should've taken a picture of the TL's lights to compare. But this is the pic I took from my G35. I don't see how they "suck". Now I know some people complained about the color of the cutoff, and wanted to color-mod the shutter, but that doesn't make the output any brighter/better, it just adds color to the cutoff point.

But even said, the TL doesn't have any better a color cutoff. (At least mine doesn't). The euro style "z" cutoff on the other hand is a different story.

because you can't compare the intensity, it seems they have the same reach and scope after adjusting it, but they do not light up the road as well, no they don't suck for your everyday drivers which is why i said mediocre, but when compared with cutoff and light intensity to brightness on the ground, TL is better by far. and also if you compared the high beam perfomance, it's also a whole other level of game that the 06 projector can't reproduce.
