The 4300K bulbs are significantly brighter than the 6000K bulbs. The 4300K bulbs put out 3200 lumens while the 6000K bulbs put out 2100 or 2400 lumens depending on whether they are the D2R or D2S bulb.

Someone may have some personal reason for preferring the 6000K bulbs and if that's what they want, that's what they should buy. But don't buy in ignorance. The 4300K bulbs put out the most light and provide the greatest night visibility.

This is true!!!

The stock will always be brighter. I only use the 6000K b/c of it's looks. To me it looks much better than the yellowish tint on stock. The 6000K has that purple/bluish tint and bright white. At night the road signs and street marking stands out really bright especially under total darkness (no light poles, etc). Now... when it rains, these don't do much. That's why I use bright yellow fogs just for bad weather.

the ground looks whiter doesnt mean you actually see more of the road. the lumen projected by anything above the 4300 kelvin color is Less than that of the 4300K, you lose about 30% when you get to 6000K. It's not easily measured, but you can determine simply by the reach of the light, 4300K will outreach the 6000K anyday on the same headlights.
