hmmm, don't remember asking it. Especially from someone who has not been on the forum for even 6 months and probably still lives at home.

They look good recessed like that. It will be nice to see them lit up at night from the side.

Yes I completely removed the reverse lights and will be routing them thru my new Kenstyle rear bumper beside the license plate, hidden behind the black mesh. When I origionally designed them and put them w/ the bumper, it looked very strange, 3 recessed lights across. So re-routing then below you will not see them until activated. I like the dual lights much better. Similar to the older skylines. The lenses are actually out of an R32, cut down to fit the recessed openings.

Yes, I get the same effect by the reflection from the recesses. While, in spirit, I am complying with regulations and the rear of my car is defined, I do not know if it is legal. On the other hand, I have also customized my Kenstyle bumper so that will also provide additional delineation of the rear of my car at night.

I'm already working on the next revision, the backup lights will be integrated into the main large rear taillights. The centers of each taillight will be even more similar to the new GT-R.

You should try and mold them into the body, that would look so good.

Agreed but then they would be completely unservicable. The units are seal, then on top of that, there is only one hole for the wiring to go through inside the trunk. One of the main things I have done was with the internals is to change everything over to led's. There aren't any bulbs to burn out.
