its very very simple...just carefully pry it open with your fingers
or if you dont wanna use your fingers then get a flathead screw driver and thin cloth. place the coth over the screw driver (so you dont scratch anything) and then pry it open, again...with gentle force
then pull the bulb out..pop the new one in...and clip the cover back on

I assume the mian benefits of the new lights are that they are brighter and also look cooler. In the pics they look fantastic, but the whiter light is actually harsher on the eyes (not that many of us drive w/ the interior lights on).
To me it gives the cabin a colder look, sterile and similar to the color that a fluorescent light gives off. That's my $.02

and my first mod was lighting: dome,step,plates and corners.
