all i can say is that this is a b!tch to do on my 06. i think i used an 8mm on my 06 (probably the same on your 05). or was it a 10mm....?

its in the service manual that you can download from this site...i forgot what page though...the service manual has pics and it should be pretty clear after looking at it. it took me a while to figure out which bolt to adjust though (yume helped me out )

section LT-6 of the manual. look in idx.pdf, search for "headlamp".

/edit the adjustment itself on on page 26 - LT-26.

im too lazy to look up what you posted but if it deals with an 8mm or 10mm bolt then its for adjusting the height. i dont think you can change it left to right. i could be wrong though. but i didnt see anything about this anywhere - on the headlamp itself nor the manual.

but non projectors could be different...hmmm...

i just went do to the car and looked - there are indeed white adjustment screws, visible through the holes on top of the headlight housing. i tried twisting it from the top (it's almost impossible to get to them from the rear), and it went, albeit hard. i will look at it again when it gets dark.

You sure you adjusting the right ones? I used a 1/4" drive socket wrench, and I think a 8mm or 10mm socket. The adjustment bolt is facing the back, but should be easily accessible from the top. I used the 1/4" drive socket, cause it was the only one that would fit. You should be able to push the wheel-well cover a bit, and squeeze th socket-wrench in there. The wheel-well cover will hold the socketwrench on the bolt for you

Took me like 5 minutes to aim my lights. Maybe I'll snap some pics, becuase I need to re-aim my passenger light, because I think it's still aimed too low. (I only aimed the driver's side last time)

Then you just need to push on the wheel-well cover to allow room for your ratchet to fit. (I only adjusted the driver's side so far)

I am doing a DIY on headlight removal tomorrow and I will post pics in that write up of where the height adjustment screw/bolt is as well.
