Hey you LED guys!!! (Headlights)

I going with '06 headlamps and going to rework my '04 projectors. In the mean time what kinds of bulbs should I get for my '06's???

Will LED blinkers work?

they will work if you get the resistance right.

Well I was planning on just buying some LED prewired (something bright) and working in my own resistors to match the extg. draw of the blinkers.

I'm using the 15 LED pre-wired ones for the rear taillight turn signals. They worked out great. Just an FYI

Using drop in bulbs is not a good idea. There has yet to be a "drop in" solution that can match the brightness of the stock halogen. Wrah, you will need to wire a custom array of high output LEDs (ie.Lumiled Luxeons) to make this work RIGHT. I am tossing around the idea of making one myself.

Pretty sure this is what I'm going to do after reading the posts over at HIDplanet. Really after reading what everyone was saying and all the trouble that comes with LEDs I don't know why people use them. They are hard to service, and aren't giving much back to the user. I think I'm just going to use chromed blinkers or even the cheap blinkers and "chrome" them myself. As for the city light, I'd like to use LEDs but again there is no simple solution. I'm going with the deep yellow h1 fogs. I still have hid driving/fog lights now.

Thanks guys for your help. I have some serious LED work to do......

Yeah it is a lot of work. However, you do see some return. My clear corners are MUCH more visible than stock and they also look neat. Plus, they will last longer than my car and I never have to worry about changing bulbs. Trust me you can see the difference between a "drop in" solution and a real one. If you are gonna do it, do it right!

Did littodevil build his own regulators consisting of capacitors and resistors? I don't really care if they are brighter than OEM, but I don't want them dimmer.

I'm going to build my own.....
