From what I recall he has a cutout on the JDM battery cover with the switch placed there. Easy wiring access right there and a great place to stick a switch.

The reason these JDM fogs disable the low-beam fogs is because it is a DOT law that a vehicle have no more than four headlamps active at a time. True, fogs arent blinding oncoming drivers the way a traditional low or high beam will, but its the law.
