I'm thinking about doing this to my sedan but I have clear sidemarkers. Do you guys think it'll look cheesy/not clean for the orange circle in the headlight to blink and the clear sidemarker to as well?

Re: Signal light mod on 6mt.net

Wow, I had no idea that my sidemarkers don't blink. The ones on my old '89 Saab 900 Turbo blinked. Come to think of it, a couple times I've nearly collided with other cars while trying to change into the middle lane from the left while they try to change from the right, despite the fact that I always signal a few seconds in advance. No wonder they got pissed at me.

Gotta say, that's pretty stupid that they don't blink. Or are most cars like this, and I just happened to drive the exceptions?

Re: the mod, what do you do with the other end of the black wire that's not tapped in, just leave it hanging?

You can. But I plan to tape the end of the black wire then tape the wire to its wiring harness.

Just performed this mod. It looks great! Real easy, just follow the instructions. I do not know why Infiniti/Nissan did not do this. Oh well, I save a bunch of money doing this by myself.
