Seal Packing

According to the repair manual, after you open up the tail lamp, you can't reuse the seal packing (black washer looking seals around the bolts). Problem is, can't find any dealer that sells this stuff. Anyone come across this problem?

Think he's talking about the tail lights...not headlights. Will this seal work for the tail lights too?

For the sedan, I know the bolts have black foam pads/washers on the outside (not opening them up) - is that what you are talking about?

Yeah, I'm talking about the black foam washers. Funny thing, not one dealer I called knows anything about this, yet repair manual says you have to replace these when you replace a bulb or open the lamp.

When I swapped in my 05 tails, I noticed that the washers were all chewed up and torn...i used them anyway.
