Anyway, so I guess a 7440 wouldn't work in 03 model, right? I wouldn't care if the parking light didnt work and just the signal did, but it seems like everyone's saying it won't work (or maybe even fit).

Me and my friend bought these 7440 bulbs for his car yesterday...they were pretty hard to find in the first place. I guess now we'll have to go back.
i said sylvania USED TO list 06 lights as d2r. until i complained because that lamp guide made me buy the WRONG bulbs for my car. they were finally smart enough to not copy and paste everything from 03-05

i guess they still need to change the turn signals though.

sorry for bringing this back from the dead but is it or is it not possible for 7440 bulbs to be put into a pre-06 model so that it only turns on when its blinking?

You don't need to replace your 2003-2005 turn signal bulb to make it only turn on when you turn on your signal. There's a mod on this forum that shows you how to do it. Basically, you take your bulb out and tape down one of the wires so that it won't make contact and this prevent the bulb from turning on when you turn on your lights, but it still blinks when you use your turn signal. Sorry, I don't know where that post was, just try searching for it.

Okay, so I have an '06 Sedan. I want to clear out my signal lights to clear, but it would be illegal if the light under it were white. So, if I clear out my signal light, would I have to buy amber 7440 LEDs or is the light underneath there already amber? I just don't want take apart my headlight to clear it out the signal light and be like, "Oh, ****. The bulb's white. Gotta' put it back together, buy amber LEDs and take it apart again."

Weird my 03 sedan had amber bulbs, so when i took out the amber piece and made it clear it now would look amber only when blinking. Kind of a nice stealth look to it, but are you sure that the 03-04 came with clear bulbs ?
