Yellow H1 Fogs: Luminics or PIAA Crystal Ion?

I understand that the H1 fogs in the '06 headlamps are pure fogs, and the high/low beams are in the projector. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here...)

If this is indeed true, I'm going to drop some nice yellow fogs in there once I get my colormodded projector headlamps back from IvoryGT. Problem is I can't decide which fog bulbs to go with - the Lumincs ir the PIAA Crystal Ion 2500k's?

From what I've read, the Luminics are a deeper yellow (and they're cheaper). Is there anything else to consider?

Thanks,
B

Luminics FTW. I have had them in my 05 headlights and now on my 06's.

You are right. The fogs on 06 headlights are purely fogs. The headlights are bi-xenon so you have HID highbeams. Trust me, they are bright. If IvoryGT does your lights like he did mine, you will have a real nice cutoff and as soon as you hit your high beams, there is light everywhere.

So Luminics > PIAA...

Does that mean they're brighter, yellower , or you just like them better?

in my experiences, the luminics are a deeper yellow than the piaas. the piaas were fine at first - until i saw a friend's luminics. then the piaas seemed to be almost a faint yellow...

luminics ftw!

if you looking for that deep yellow look in the headlights than go for the luminacs. I have PIAA ion yellow and they look like a whitish when you look @ them but output a yellow light.

+1

I had PIAA's originally and I thought they looked fine. But then they burnt out, so I gave Luminics a try. Luminics are by far more yellow. I don't know about how bright it is compared to the PIAA's, but all I really care about is which on is more yellow.

I have pics of my Luminics in this thread.
