I'm going to be swapping out my 03 taillights to jdm. I will post new pictures as as soon as I install. I have 03 USDM taillights GTR style smoke overlays on them if any body is looking for taillights send me a PM. Has anybody that has upgraded to 06 taillights actually hooked up the trunk button or just left it alone.

is it gonna look weird for the 03-05 coupe body to have the 06 dipped taillights? gonna look kinda funky huh?

 

03-05 have diff body than 06-07??

 

yeah, the 06-07 butt is a bit more rounded and with a different wing too.....unless i'm VERY wrong

 

you said it your " VERY wrong" Jk well 03-07 have the same body only the spoiler, front bumber and side skirts are different on the 06-07 sport package Gs. the butt is not rounder everything is the same.

i swear the 06-07 butt is much rounder than the 03-05. it's a loud rounder near the trunk area. maybe it IS the same. i think what makes it different in my head is the fact that the spoiler is a bit rounder, not as flat as 03-05.

in any case, 03-05 rear deck will look funky with 06-07 taillights i'm guessing

hey. on the 1st pic. u see that black piece on the bottom. what is that? is that sappose to go infront of the OEM bumper??

 

those are ings face ducts for the lower grills...non sport bumper only
authentics are $$$$, but someone was doing replicas for a while as well

I'm thinking about putting the same JDM tail lights in a 2005 Coupe.

Did you ever get the trunk button to open the trunk lid? I think that would be a cool mod.

 

keep them as they are. the back of your car is "busy" enough as it is. no need to add more to clutter it back there.
