leds in 06 city lights
okay some people say that using leds in your 2006 projectors as the city lights will burn or crack your fog housings/bulbs but some poeple have no problems. please post up thoughts.

i used to have LEDs in my 06 housings. they worked fine. didn't flicker. nothing cracked.
although, when i went to take the LEDs out...they were 1/4 melted.
LEDs hate heat.

thanks for all the feedback guys. if anyone else has anything, please feel free to add it. im going to go ahead and put the leds in for now and i can always change them out later.

make sure the LEDs you have fit. initially, i bought 194/168 LEDs from vleds.com thinking they would fit fine. i think it was this one that i got:

and it wouldnt fit through the hole.
so i ended up having to buy another pair of LEDs similar to these to fit:

So you bought the bottom one Calvin? So, you were saying that when you took it out it was melted?

One of mine is flickering...
I have vleds and my right side one is flickering... I got one of the hyperwhite bulbs.... I'll probably just do the '06 housing recall and get them changed back to stock, or just take them out altogether. I had them in for about 4 months... and rarely used the fog lights.
