leds in 06 city lights

i used to have LEDs in my 06 housings. they worked fine. didn't flicker. nothing cracked.

although, when i went to take the LEDs out...they were 1/4 melted.

LEDs hate heat.

make sure the LEDs you have fit. initially, i bought 194/168 LEDs from vleds.com thinking they would fit fine. i think it was this one that i got:

and it wouldnt fit through the hole.

so i ended up having to buy another pair of LEDs similar to these to fit:

anyway, good luck!

Those are the bulbs I have in mine, they seem to work fine at the moment, but they weren't as white as I expected them to be.

One of mine is flickering...

I have vleds and my right side one is flickering... I got one of the hyperwhite bulbs.... I'll probably just do the '06 housing recall and get them changed back to stock, or just take them out altogether. I had them in for about 4 months... and rarely used the fog lights.

So, have we decided which are the best bulbs to use?
I'd like to change my city/clearance lights to a whiter bulb.
