I was wondering if I can just swap out my stock hid bulbs with stock I35 hid bulbs? It seems like the I35's have more bluish tint to it... Or can I just change the bulbs with any hid bulbs with different color temperature?? Thanks.

 

You can change to a D2R HID bulb with a different colour temp. Some done this, but report anything over 6000K as being a bit dimmer than the stock bulbs.

Nothing will change if you change the stock I35 bulb. They are the same. The housing in a i35 is what causes the more blue look. Same with the BMW's and Audi.

I believe the IS300's have reflectors. The GS, IS, LS, and ES still use reflectors while the new RX330, and the two other SUV models(cant seem to remember...maybe GX and LX) have projectors. I think the RX's are self-adjusting and swivel like the new bmw adaptive lights.
