How to disconnect 3rd/high mount brake light

My dealer installed me a factory wing with the led on it. However the 3rd brake light inside the rear window is also on. I only want the spoiler lights on. Anyone know how to disconnect? Thanks.

remove the cover and unplug it
push the cover towards the window and lift straight up to remove it

Maybe because I forgot to mention I was referring to a sedan. I looked around and from the trunk there's a plug right underneath the brake light. Unplugged it and that did the trick. I wonder where they spliced into the wires to get power to the spoiler though.

Swapping trucks and 3rd brake lights

I am also wondering how they got power to the spolier. Today i will be swapping trunks and i am reading as much as i can on the wiring of the rear brake light. Right now i am confuded to what color wire does what? i belive that ther are 4 different wires. My guess is that one is power for the light, on is for the truck opener, one could be a ground, and the other or others i have no clue. Has any done this before? and can you please provide me with some ideas on the wiring of the brake light.

you are in trouble.

You got to remove the rear window and take the trunk off in order to get there.

Just chop the wires. That is the easiest way to go.

Removing the window is not an option. But i thikn that you are right and i should just chop the wires and then attach individual wires so that the wires can reach where they need to go. But does anyone know which colour wire does what?

I have succesfully swapped trucks!! is was so easy. The wasy no need for re wiring anythign and i did not have to make a new path for existing wires. The car is built with harness for a third break light under the back window and one for the spoiler. Its a plug and play when swaping trunks!!! the only thing is that need to cut a hole in the backto get access to the wires underneath adn they were already there adn tyhe 3rd light covers the holes.
